2011 News at Solomon Academy

• 2011 MathCounts Virginia State Competition results!!!

Out of the 5 ranking positions in the Virginia State MathCounts competition, our students Robin, Peter, and Matthew have respectively taken the 1st, 3rd, and 5th place and will continue to the National Competition.

-Best individual Performance:
1st place: Robin (Rocky Run MS)
3rd place: Peter (Joyce Kilmer MS)
5th Place: Matthew (Rocky Run MS) : Alternate

-Countdown Round
1st place: Robin (Rocky Run MS)
3rd Place: Tim (Longfellow MS)

5 Students from Solomon Academy were advanced to Virginia State competition on March 19th.

• 22 students made the 1st cut for TJHSST in year 2011
